What a power point should not be like

Being educators, we used a lot of power point in our lessons whether to show points or content or animations or even videos. Most of the time we put every single word into the power point thinking that the students would benefit from our work. But it is the contrary. Students start to read line after line and not listening to what you are explaining. So, is our way of using the power point correct? What are the don'ts in power point presentation.
